Lauren is an author, screenwriter, producer, Mama and good friend. She has written 6 fiction books, most recently the environmental children’s book, LITTLE TURTLE TURNS THE TIDE about ocean plastics. Her biography of the inspiring paraplegic and former World Champion Trials Cyclist, MARTYN ASHTON, will be published in 2021.

Lauren wrote the feature documentary, WAVERIDERS that won the Dublin International Film Festival Audience Award and was voted one of the Top 50 Irish films of all time in May 2020. She worked on the Disney feature ARTEMIS FOWL, directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, released in 2020. Her debut feature screenplay, UNDERTOW, based on a true story, has been optioned and is in development. In 2011, Lauren founded LOLA COVE FILMS. She wrote the TV documentary CLOUD 9 about 11-times World Champion surfer, Kelly Slater, and THE TONY HAWK SHOW. Lauren created the story world for the BAFTA- nominated football game IAMPLAYR, winner of a Cannes Gold Lion, that attracted over 14 million players.

Lauren is a surfer and Trustee of Surfers Against Sewage. She is driven to tell stories that make a difference.
